I just checked and this issue has been fixed on the PS5 except... some of the recent images and tags that I have met the unlocking requirements are not unlocking. It shows that I have met the requirements i.e. 50/50 but they remain locked. Other than that everything else is back in working order. I sure they will get your issue fixed. It is, of course, just a matter of time unfortunately.
I think some of my weapons have that issue. Urgh. I feel like avoiding the game for a bit until they fix it. My PP-29 was almost at the end of Mastery 31, about 25/30. Now it is 0/30 for Mastery 31.
Yeah, I hear what you're saying. But you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. On on hand you avoid the stress of playing a buggy game but on the other hand you get behind on leveling up and potentially missing out on any content you may be able to grind for.
I might just do some solo to level up weapons I do not use. Or do a co-op with friends and see how can get the most pistol kills etc. Shoot * and laugh about it.

My MP9 keeps losing my attachment setup. They are unlocked, but when I start a game the weapon is back to its default with nothing available in the cross menu.
Only seems to be this weapon.
I believe it's occurring (even now) when you go to add items or change items to your gun loadout. Then if you are still in that menu changing items the next match starts up - this will often cause those attachment assignments to be cleared or lost. You can sometimes go back into collections, loadouts, find the loadout, click on the gun at the bottom and reconfigure then it works again on next spawn, but it is still sometime dicky and does not always fix immediately. This seems to be more likely to happen when you have just earned a new item, and go in after the game to edit - then next match launches.
Happens with different guns for me.
Also just now (and a few times recently) the game set the resolution to lowest on launching, very hard to see anything to fix it. Happens a few times, but could be if you use Alt+F4 to quit the game the settings get corrupted (rather than defaulting to a backup set).
