PS5 CRASHES AFTER UPDATE 3.2

I also have more freezes on PS5 after this update. It freezes about every third game. I'm not sure how, but crashing and general performance somehow has gotten worse and worse on PS5 since early access release.

After update 3.2 in battlefield 2042 I have been crashing almost every round or every other round on my ps5. I keep getting error code ce-108255-1 which mean there is a problem with game or app. No other games are having this problem, only battlefield. I've done everything to rebuild database on my ps5 to even deleting game with saved data to do a fresh reinstall and nothing has worked so far. I'm probably one of the few that actually enjoy this game but I Literally can't play it do to this problem, has anyone else ran into this or found a fix for this?

Since the latest patch went live, I've had several instances of the game randomly crashing on my PS5 and booting me back to the PS home screen (to then submit an error report or not).

It happened to me once yesterday which I forgave as a one-off as I've not really had it happen with the game up to now. But then I was playing tonight and it randomly crashed out mid-round on Manifest. I booted it up again and rejoined my friend in the same match. The round finished and, as it was moving to the post-round screens, it went again.

My friend has also experience multiple crashes of the same sort/level since the patch went live so just wanted to see if this is a known issue?

I’m having the same problem, and it’s definitely something to do with the lates patch.

I'm having the same problem on PS5 after the latest update. 

This evening I played for around 3 hours and had over 10 crashes of different types. The first is where it just crashes back to the PS5 menu and gives you the option to report but no error code. The second type of error is mid game the whole screen freezes and you have to physically close the game down. This second one must be server related, as I was playing with a friend and we had the crashes at exactly the same time.

Having played the battlefield franchise since bad company I am appalled at how bad this game has become with clearly little to no QC before updates are released. When you are paying £80 for a game you do not expect to be beta testing. I just hope the EA / Dice do something to recognise these issues for fans who have forked out hard earned cash otherwise this will be the last product I buy from them.

Is there any chance that the ps5 can go back to the previous update until the problem is fixed?

I experienced crashes only a handful of times previously to this update.  Now it is a guarantee to crash mid game.  I think I'm about 30 for 30 matches that have crashed at this point. 

We are well aware of the issues however this last patch has made the game unplayable and I would happily deal with the bugs previous to this patch rather than wait 10 minutes in matchmaking and 5 minutes of gameplay just to crash and start all over again.
