Thank you for the very helpful suggestions for a solution.....I tried everything above and came back with no corruptions or errors. I also confirmed both my drives are connected to the 6gbps SATA ports.

It sounds like from your advice that my SSD could be improved with a newer/better model so I will look into this next unless you have other recommendations?

I also have the other issue that players are facing with CPU utilisation and think I need to study your explanation for setting a userconfig to organise threads/cores which I understand even less than drives :/ EA trying to make me a technician!
