I try your tips to uninstall/reinstall ea anticheat.
Then try to lower the buffersize to 128 like before but it does the same crash sound than before.
So this tips didn't work for people using asio interface.
Okay I found a fix:
Go to the BF2042 install folder, open the anticheat folder and run it's installer. Select BF2042 from the drop down menu and uninstall. Close the anti-cheat installer and run BF2042, the game will redownload the anti-cheat. Haven't had this issue since.
