Breakthrough Returns to Main Menu After Match Found

There is a serious issue with breakthrough on PS5, Xbox and PC.

I and others have been unable to connect to a game of breakthrough (offical server) on the main menu. It finds a game, counts down, fades to black and then eventually returns you to the main menu.

For me all other game modes work without issue, but others have reported the same bug with conquest.

There are two other posts on this forum with the same issue and a post on Reddit where others are stating they're experiencing the same issue as well.

I've tested and confirmed the issue on my PS5 (local install & streaming) and Xbox Series X consoles, both with two different accounts and tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. 

Please can this be looked in to as a matter of urgency.

    Hey, Folks

    Thanks for sticking with us while this was being addressed. I know this one got really frustrating for us, but some good news. Based on the latest update we received from the team, we're now considering this resolved.

    Same here, as soon as it finds a match and starts joining it just kicks me back to lobby, on breaktrough its 100% of the time i try to join a match and on conquest its about 50% chance. Idk whats going on but its starting to get very annoying...

    I have the same bug.

    Breakthrough is the only mode that isn't working.
    Black screen, then it goes back to menu.

    Having trouble to go into any game option for the past two days. It loads 'finds a game' then onto the black loading screen then it throws us back into the home screen. Could you please solve this ASAP?

    they will only care if it was conquest , whilst breakthrough is the best mode , attacking and defending , not that conquest running around in circles nonsense 😂 if no breakthrough i dont play it , and it happens to me also for breakthrough , thats why i quit game and go on something else 😂

    So I have seen this bug recently however it only appears to happen to me when vpn to Europe from US west coast. I can vpn to other regions like US East or Asia. It’s unfortunately only way to find matches sometimes outside of waiting for 16 players forever and has been a reliable tool to play until 4-5 days ago. Might be Europe (mainly London or Belfast) issue but curious to know where everyone is playing from with this problem.

    im in UK and i mainly only play breakthrough on 2042 or Rush and frontlines 👍 i despise conquest and game modes that involve running around in circles lol
