I have the same issue on PC. Using B&O Portal wireless headphones with dobly surround activated. I reinstalled the game and the issue is still there.

@caliwator Same thing but with Sony XM4's (bluetooth). It cuts off all my audio to the game and elsewhere. As soon as I close the game I get sound back, other games are working fine. I can get sound if through a wired connection but something is wrong with wireless.

Hi @Photolight,
That is very interesting to hear, so you are able to get music audio but only when connecting your headphones via cable? Not Bluetooth?
Are you playing on PC or PlayStation 5 by chance?

@bobbybrot Playing on PC, it's not that big of a deal to connect the cable when I play it, just really strange that it's not only muting the game on me but all my other sounds as well. Again, it's just this game that's doing it.
