- Add exceptions to a Firewall, anti-virus on your device or network that could interfere with the game.
- Reinstall GPU drivers
- Run the Windows System File Checker tool
Hello and thanks again for your time and advises. I've done my best to find what's wrong and nothing works till now. I managed to finish 1 map and then again crashes to desktop in the middle of the next one.
I tried to understand my crashdump via windbg, it seems that there is an access violation that I do not understand.

@8IGD4DDY If you try playing on a fresh Windows User profile does that have any impact on stability?

It's interesting that this error's coming up. It can be other things, but in our cases it's usually indicative of an Origin issue. You mention repairing Origin already, but can you try a cache clear if you haven't done so yet: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/ Hello,
Thanks @EA_David and all of you searching a solution for this issue. I ordered a new set of RAM waiting to receive it and i'll keep you update. That's said I've rescanned my ram with memtest and it seems that one stick is faulty, so I hope my new set will solve the problem. The fact is I haven't got any errors with Windows or another app/game till now so didn't think about a faulty RAM. I'll keep you informed as soon as I install the new hardware.

Also battling this issue. Sometimes also crashes with a dxdiag error saying ran out of memory.

There is no changes after installing my new set of RAM (2x8Gb 3200Mhz) so even if one stick was faulty on my old set the new ones didn't resolve the mess. @Draguus thanks m8, your thread is interesting, I've already tried to turn off then change Memory profile, default, XMP 3200, 2933... nothing worked so far. I'll keep searching for a solution before re-installing Win. Some ideas around, quit the game between 2 matches đ in order to empty RAM load until a patch to this issue.

I didn't get any crash since I changed my RAM sticks and added another 16 Gb and there is the first huge patch BF2042...
I'm not sure that it will never crashes because I don't play often anymore âšī¸

Having the same issue for a while now.
Have you tried analyzing the .mdmp files in C:\Users\joshu\Documents\Battlefield 2042\CrashDumps and seeing what the error code is?
Mine reads ERROR_CODE: (NSTATUS) 0xc0000005 - The instruction at 0x%p refrenced memory at 0x%p. The mmory could not be %s.
it also has another section saying **Pseudo Context ** SYMBOL_NAME: memory_corruption!BF2042.exe
FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: MEMORY_CORRUPTION_LARGE_c0000005_memory_corruption!BF2042.exe
Still not sure how to fix it but am mostly curious if it says the same thing or something similar. I've had a few different analyses come from bf2042 but almost identical each time. usually, it's the bucket id that's different.
Why isn't there a way to report this to EA?
