Re: Bf2042 crossplay
Hi @HinduCommando The simplest things to do first would be to have your friend triple check the version they're running and that you both have crossplay enabled.
We have checked everything. We’re both running compatible versions and if it’s game version it’s 6.1.0 for both. He’s running xbox x version and I am running a xbox gamepass pc version. There is really only one that pops up on xbox pc app. Not sure what the problem is here really
What is an Xbox X/S? @HinduCommando
Do you mean the Xbox Series (X/S) Or the Xbox One (X/S)?
Sorry, I meant Xbox Series X.
@HinduCommando I'll see if I can replicate on my Series X this evening, and of there's anything I notice which could help.
Yeah sure. You can try and add me as a friend. This is my user id for Xbox as well ofc. Thank you for your help!
This indeed sounds like a very isolated 'privacy settings' issue, to be honest.
We did find a solution. So I blocked him and saw what his EA user id is in the account ->blocked people settings and then unblocked him & sent him an EA friend request through EA app. Even then he didn’t get a friend request in the game. Now, we fired up Fifa24 on cloud gaming and that game gives you option to add EA friends and that’s how he added me as a friend. So now I am able to team up in BF2042 with my friend but ran into “Unable to load persistence data “ issue which is stupidest thing but I wish EA made it easier to play this crossplay without so many interlocks.
