Re: BF2042 Season 6 will not load after splash screen -possible solution

Since Update 6 my game has been stuck at splash screen.  Did app recovery/cache clear, uninstalled, reinstalled to no avail.  Even tried the link above.

Today I did the following:

Uninstalled the game

Deleted all game folders/files

Deleted all EasyAntiCheat files and folders (There were 2 instances)

Deleted Registry Key for EasyAntiCheet to deleted the service (There were 2 instances)

Ran CCleaner registry cleaner 

Ran CClener in general

Rebooted

Downloaded and installed BF2042

It is now working
