Hello all,
at the moment i am on level 92, which means 920 battle pass points for the season 2 badge, but it only shows 851.
Each day i play around 3-5 complete rounds hosting "Official Experiences" portals, according the different workaround suggestions.
The difference will not get smaller.
Yep having the same issue. Really frustating as I can't get past 948 battlenpass points in Season 02.
I just installed the latest update and the points still don't track properly...
Also, apparently hosting a portal server doesn't even get you some of the missing points anymore.
DICE TeamRight now it shows me I have 974, and I should have around 1020 points or more if I'm correct.
Same goes for Season 1: it shows me 929 when I should have well over 1000 points (unfortunately I didn't really know about the trick with the portal servers back then).
Keep in mind that I never spent any of my Battlefield Coins.
Here are the tier 100 skins to prove I did complete the battlepasses.

I had the same problem with hosting just any portal server, not always got all the missing points by doing so.
But hosting an official rush portal server (the way I described in my comment #530) still works for me. Even it's annoying, maybe you should try this, too, and hopefully helps ๐

Gold/Ultimate edition doesn't matter, Tewdz and the majority of players are missing much more than 40 points for the season badge ๐
Also the bug can't be caused by such an edition. Some of my friends do not have gold/ultimate edition and nevertheless they're missing points for the season badge, too. Also the reason gold/ultimate edition would not explain why the workaround is working, it's a problem of passing the correct value in your code when playing normal servers, nothing else.

You have to finish the match and have to wait until your points are updated in Battle Pass reward screen before leaving the server. (If you're already BP level 100, then wait until the BP points are blinking in reward screen or just leave after new map has loaded.)
If this isn't helping, too, then unfortunately also this workaround is just working randomly.
Ultimate edition just means, you have to subtract 40 points for the season badge. Only earned points are counting for the season badge and you're getting 40 every season as reward for Ultimate edition.

Yes, we know this and I've explained to Tewdz just in my last comment #546. But I've told you also that players without gold/ultimate edition are missing points for the season badge, too, and that we're missing much more points than just the 40 as reward for edition. In my case often there have been missing more than 100 points and this can't be caused by my gold edition.
And yes, I'm still astonished why the workaround by hosting an official portal server is working for me. Nevertheless this can't be the solution because this workaround seems not to work for everybody, majority of players will not know about such a workaround and not at last, the game should display the correct amount of points for the season badge by just playing normal.

Sorry, but no. The rewarded 40 points are not completely separated from the Battle Pass rewards by playing the game. In the Battle Pass menu you will see your correct amount of points including the 40 rewarded points until you're Battle Pass level 100. Just the season badge is not showing the correct amount of points. But when the workaround is working for you, then also the amount of points for the season badge is shown correctly and the 40 rewarded points then are already subtracted.
So gold/ultimate edition has nothing to do with this, it's a bug of passing the correct value to the season badge and normally developers should be able to fix this fast when passing the value to Battle Pass menu is working correctly. (Battle Pass menu = earned points + bought/rewarded points // Season badge = just earned points ...it's as simple as that^^)
Yeah, i said that Iโm done with this forum but unfortunately every patch they break something.
Beside the crashes which where not there before the patch from today the Season 2 Batch is now totally broken for me.
Normally I could I play some rounds of Breakthru and maybe some Conquest to gather some EXP for the Season Pass and the Season2 Badge.
If the update on the badge got stuck, I played some rounds in featured Portal mode and the badge increased somewhat or delayed.
But since today Iโm stuck on 1012 points but I earned today 5- 6 points with an EXP value of 27k. This is a lot of XP that got burned lets hope that the Weeklies next week still count in. (then Iโm still able to get the badge)
Played Featured Portal Mode, tried a Self-Created Portal Mode (Standard Full XP), played conquest, rush and Breakthru but nothing.
So letโs hope they get this sorted out but I think after this season Iโm finally done with BF.
Whatever so called fix they did didn't work....
I'm 962 on the battlepass and stuck at 866.
Played 3-4 rounds and got points added to the battlepass but nothing to the season badge.
Mine has not moved since Monday.

Same here. I'm a veteran since BFBC2 and already in BF3 we asked the developers: are you really playing your own game, not just for 1 or 2 hours ? Is there any QM ? The only answer was: They're working on it and we should show some patience. Close to release of BF4 there still have been no fixes for major bugs in gameplay of BF3 and then the only answer was: Sorry, couldn't make it, but buy BF4, everything will be better there ๐
With every Battlefield it just became worse and now there's BF2042 and I can notice new bugs in gameplay with nearly every patch, too. E.g. with last patch suddenly my loadout has been grayed out at some maps, couldn't see any left amount of grenades and cooldowns of skills and gadgets. Best situation has been when I was running between the enemies, couldn't kill anybody and they couldn't see me. My friend, who spawned at me, told me then, he's at the other side of the map and I'm directly in front of him ๐ณ
I can't tell how such bugs are happening, especially not when they didn't already occurred before a patch. Also I'm not knowing why they (just one day later) didn't happened again. But what the hell the developers are doing ?
Concerning the season badge bug I have to say then:
Is it easier to display a correct sum of points in Battle Pass menu including possible bought and rewarded points than to show the correct amount of just basic earned points, every player will have, for the season badge ? Sorry, but kidding me ? If it's like this, then it's a wrong decision in basic development. Then I have to say: keep your code simple before adding features like buy-able and rewarded points to your system.

Same here, since Update 2.2 the workaround by playing/hosting a portal server is not working any longer and now there's also absolutely no progression for the season badge, even not by finishing weekly missions ๐ณ
Also the same like at the end of last season when we were told, there's a patch coming and nothing happened. But now they've made it even worse with the patch ๐ฃ So again, what the hell the developers are doing ? I've done everything in BF2042 and if it's like that, patches are making things worse, I'm now really thinking about switching to CoD MW2 like so many others did ๐ค
Count me in - this is NOT SOLVED. Season 2 I'm on level 90, my badge progression was stuck on 698 and moved slightly and is now stuck on 705. It has been stuck for about 3 weeks despite completing the weeklies every week. Same sh*t happened with the previous season. If you can track season weekly progression, then this should easily translate to badge progression - why isn't it? Crap coding. And no, I have not purchased any points.
