Re: Can't deploy

Same here. Xbox Series X. Can't deploy on a new game at game start. Button A depresses but does nothing. Can only deploy in a game that I join that is in progress. It happens every time. I have to quit the game and go back out to the lobby.

TH3 R34L 0NE, on Xbox Series X. This was happening intermittently for me at first when playing All-Out Warefare, and usually after quitting the game and reloading it, I would be able to spawn. But now it's been going on for the past two days. I'll be able to load into the game but not be able to spawn. Additionally, the weapon selection menu is entirely grayed out and unable to modify weapons or switch weapons in game. 

I can’t spawn in on PS4 either. I can play against bots but I want to level my weapons  up. 

PS5.

This occurs every time I automatically go into a second game for me. I have to quit and rejoin another game every time.

I can't deploy in ANY game in Battlefield 2042!

And when I'm lucky enough tp get to a game, I can't modify or choose my loadout.

Suavebatman84 xbox 1. Really upset that i paid 119 bucks just to lose xp mid game or to not be able to play. Every other fame its like this. But today i have only played 10 games all day. Turned xbox off out of frustration. Not happy thats for sure. Regretting the purchase

conquest and breakthrough

• Conquest, haven't tried breakthrough yet...
• Seems to be mostly when transitioning between games. I can't remember it happening upon first boot, but when I let matchmaking take over, sometimes it happens.
  
  I lose the ability to change my loadout at all. All options are blank, I can't choose equipment, weapons, nothing. Then I can't lock in early deploy during countdown, it says the point is not available (even though it's only the team spawn point in the beginning), and can't ever spawn. I have to quit the game and find a new one.

Xbox Series X - conquest - does it going into a match from another. Quit game, happened again, hard reset, happened again. THIS IS TERRIBLE. 

Please forward this message to EA... the lobby and server isn't broken... it's a glitch at the end of a game. A match plays out and when the attackers capture the last objective. Then the game doesn't end... so all the players in the lobby realize the attackers won and the end of game doesn't initialize. Players abandon the "dead lobby" which means new players are able to spawn in... those people don't know a full game has been played and it just appears like they've jumped into a game that won't let them spawn. THE PROBLEM IS THE ENDING ISN'T TRIGGERED WHEN THE ATTACKERS CAPTURE THE LAST OBJECTIVE.

Hello mate I’ve figured out that it’s more an issue with the load outs. But if when the game starts and you can’t deploy try selecting you specialist the you should be able to deploy. As for load out just have to go option and select a load out you like. 👍

Nope they’re blank 

They start blank. Press a button like your going to change things.on play station it’s square. Click  on specialist even though it’s blank it should let you select something. Then that enables you to play. Still it won’t let you pick your own weapons so you’ll have to creat your own load out in the options menu. If this still don’t work I’m not sure. It’s very frustrating I know. Hopefully Dec update fixes everything 

Same for me on PC. My buddy started a portal server and when it happened he admin kicked me so I could rejoin without restarting my whole game. When I rejoined the game, I was admin kicked over and over... Another bug to fix.

Happenes when transitioning to next game
Had friend Admin kick me from second map (as I had no deploy button). This causes a second bug where the game will continue to Admin kick me on its own. I was subsequently admin kicked three more times before giving up and shutting the game off.

Included is a screen shot of my game. I can access the text chat box and hear the game play (shooting) but can not esc out of the game. Must minimize to desktop and force close the game.
