Re: Can't find my friend with EA ID

As someone who is having the same issues, can't find my friend via EA ID search on Battlefield 2042, and he is one the newest Xbox and I'm on PS5 and we have both made sure we have cross play on, how do you know if an account is a child account.

Along with the game I can't find him on the EA app for PC. Any solutions would be much appreciated.

    @R-gamr 

    It would be based on the date of birth that's registered on either the console account or the EA Account. You should be able to see that under the account details.

    So we both have adult accounts and I found him on the ea app but when I put the exact account name into the game nothing. I can see other Xbox names but not his. And the same thing is on his side, he can’t find me.

    Hmm, gotcha. 

    Just to confirm, you're able to find them in the EA App using their Xbox Gamertag, or using their EA Account ID?

    What is your friend seeing from their side? Are they having the exact same issue when they're trying to search for you?

    @EA_Kent Yes. And it’s worth noting that I only found him on the ea desktop app after typing in his email. Searching his username returned nothing but I was able to find him via his email. For Battlefield however searching from his end or mine returns no results. We then checked to make sure we were both on the 5-gen version of the game (PS5 and new Xbox) which we were.

    @R-gamr I am having this problem as well. He is playing Xbox Series X and I the PS5. And neither of us can find each others EA IDs.
