Re: CPU 66-70 degrees!!!! OMG!!the season 7 fix never came out

@UAchevzor dont worry about those 70 degree temp.
Its very normal with game as bf2042 to get higher temps !
Youre cpu will throttle at high 80 / 90 temps not before, alo it will not being damged cuse those high temps.
If ya realy want lower temps then ya need to lower voltages !

but again, dont worry 70 temp is low , other systems (cpu) get higher temps 😉

Cheers

  • @Rokebo73 why is there no such temperature in other online games or shooters. I will never believe that a temperature above normal is adequate. And this is not normal, give me at least one adequate example. That is, you really want to say that if the processor is at 90 degrees in bf 2042, then there is no need to worry? seriously? Ask other players about it, do a survey experiment - you will lose, boy.

    @UAchevzor bf2042 is a cpu intensive game ! unfortunally !!!
    Temps at cpu are easy to be at 60 / 70 or even higher then 80 <-- depends on system / hardware and cfg.
    Ya dont need to worry, youre cpu can handle much higher temps !!!
    Its als secured with overheating technology ! so it will not damage anythiong , especialy not a temp from around 70 , <<--- pretty normal temp when ya play bf2042 and youre hardware/config !!!!!

    Cheers
  • @Rokebo73  friend, the processor is designed to work constantly at high temperatures. The fact that my processor can withstand it does not mean that it is good for it, sooner or later it will lead to a bad end. I do not agree with the opinion that high processor temperatures are the norm for games. If I had a weak system, I would understand you, but for bf 2042, my configuration is above the recommended one, so high temperatures in the game are clearly a bad move by the developers. And maybe one of the reasons why online in the game is low.

    @UAchevzor You dont have to agree, but ya should do more research about cpu temps during load !!

    I got an i13900k , rtx4090 , 32gb ddr5 at 6000mts, 2x 2gb nvme samsung 980 pro , gigabyte z690 ultra , and also temps at my system reach into the 70+ with bf2042.

    Indeed other games lower teamps, but bf2042 is one of the games that make youre cpu going to work 😉

    Cheers
  • @Rokebo73  bf 2042 is one of the games where you will feel at least uncomfortable from such temperatures. Try telling that to the majority of players who left the game. Even at low settings, the game does not affect the temperature in any way. Therefore, I absolutely do not agree with your position regarding bf2042, and I will continue to believe that such a decision by the developers led the game to become an interesting game for few.

    "Play at high temperatures and not worry about anything" :😂

    Good luck.

    @UAchevzor Hey man.
    Generally, anything between 40–65°C (or 104–149°F) is considered a safe heat range for a normal workload. While running more intensive apps or games, the normal CPU temp range can increase to between 70–80°C (158–176°F). The rule of thumb is, a bad CPU temp is 80-85°C (176–185°F) or above.

        My CPU was working at 70 - 73 before the recent update (hasn't changed with the update..) : I just took it that 70+ was normal !

    ==== edit ===

    Thought I would go and play BF4 (3000 vs 3000 on Metro !!) to check the  temps on there

    Highest temp was 50 !!
