I got an i13900k , rtx4090 , 32gb ddr5 at 6000mts, 2x 2gb nvme samsung 980 pro , gigabyte z690 ultra , and also temps at my system reach into the 70+ with bf2042.
Indeed other games lower teamps, but bf2042 is one of the games that make youre cpu going to work 😉
Cheers
@Rokebo73 bf 2042 is one of the games where you will feel at least uncomfortable from such temperatures. Try telling that to the majority of players who left the game. Even at low settings, the game does not affect the temperature in any way. Therefore, I absolutely do not agree with your position regarding bf2042, and I will continue to believe that such a decision by the developers led the game to become an interesting game for few.
"Play at high temperatures and not worry about anything" :😂
Good luck.

Generally, anything between 40–65°C (or 104–149°F) is considered a safe heat range for a normal workload. While running more intensive apps or games, the normal CPU temp range can increase to between 70–80°C (158–176°F). The rule of thumb is, a bad CPU temp is 80-85°C (176–185°F) or above.

My CPU was working at 70 - 73 before the recent update (hasn't changed with the update..) : I just took it that 70+ was normal !

Thought I would go and play BF4 (3000 vs 3000 on Metro !!) to check the temps on there
Highest temp was 50 !!
