    2x16GB Corsair 6000MHz RAM.

Previously, XMP was enabled(6000MHz). This morning, I disabled it(4800MHz) and no error yet. I’ll test your suggestions on Monday when I get access to my pc again @Rokebo73 . Thanks for now and please stay in touch

@alcakmuhendis  Its possible your mem is not compatible with those XMP profiles. I see multiple bios upgrades to improve Improve system compatibility,
I would advise to do all those bios upgrades, only not the BETA one Versie 1203 Bètaversie 2022/03/08. Do them all one by one from version 1008 up to version 2002. Becarefull , not to brick your system !!!!

Ps could you do make a screenshot after the instructions below and post it !
    Open Start.
Search for Command Prompt, right-click the top result, and select the Run as administrator option.
Type the following command to get info of RAM installed on the computer and press Enter:
wmic memorychip get devicelocator, manufacturer, partnumber

@alcakmuhendisPartnumber from your current mem is CMH32GX5M2D6000C36 , you could use cpu-z for an extra confirmation.
If cpu-z shows same number then you need to check if your mem is compatible with your motherboard. As for now , when its not in the Memory QVL , then its not , unless there is other documention !
I do not see this part number in the QVL from you memory
    https://www.asus.com/Motherboards-Components/Motherboards/PRIME/PRIME-Z690-P-WIFI/HelpDesk_QVL_Memory/

PS i see only G.SKILL memory with 6000Mhz speed is supported at your motherboard !

  • @Rokebo73  I see that my motherboard supports 5200mhz of corsair rams. Can I configure my rams to operate at 5200MHz? Or, Do I have to refund these rams and buy new ones?

@alcakmuhendisyou could try to set 5200mhz, if that doesnmt work then refund and buy new ones thats in your QVL.
I would refund and use the money for compatible mem, maybe at same store you did buy then , just swap !

Make sure you buy ram thats in QVL , else you still get compatibilty issues !!, app crashes, heat, pc crashes blablabla

  • @Rokebo73Thanks, I'll try to change RAMs after I contacted with ASUS and make sure these RAMs are not supported for this Motherboard.

I've another question. I had some other problems with my pc as follows:
*Sometimes when I play simple flash game(Haxball) in chrome, it says "Out of memory" and chrome crashes

*When I play COD Warzone, game crashes after beep sound like BF2042.

Can this incompatibility situation explain those problems also?

  • @Rokebo73

I 've done stress test previously and no problem occured.(Test lasted 30 mins for RAM GPU CPU ). Additionally, I activated memory stress test while I was playing BF2042 and no error occured. However, game is crashed in the second game while there was no stress test(interesting?).

That beep sound is like the sound when you switch between Intel's integrated graphic card to some other external graphic card. It only occurs on COD not BF.

BTW, I've configured my RAM to operate at 5200MHz, I still got error. I'll try to change RAMs if that's possible.

I’m also doing memtest86 as well. I’ll share the results when it’s finished

  • @Rokebo73  Memtest completed successfully after 5 hours. Looks like RAM is OK but it’s incompatible with my motherboard.

The memory isn't compatible with the XMP memory profile stored in the RAM?
    Lol.

  • @Rokebo73 A lot of people suffer these DirectX errors. I don't want to change my RAMs though. IMHO, it looks like BF2042 related

@alcakmuhendis you need to check of the part number from your ram is in the QVL from your motherboard ! If its niot in the QVL then its not tested with the motherboard you got. Could cause issues , especially like the (next gen) game as BF2042
  • @Rokebo73
I've already checked. It's not listed in the QVL of my motherboard. If that's the reason, what about hundreds of people suffering this exact same error? Do all of them have incompatible RAMs & motherboards? I don't think so.

@alcakmuhendis if ya asked pc experts, they all will agree that ram thats not in qvl can cause issues , especially under heavy load from data and/or bios settings with oc/voltage and cl settings from ram!!!
  • @Rokebo73

I really thank your for your help and suggestions but I still think that there's another reason behind this.

  • @Rokebo73

I've changed my Corsair RAMs to GSKILL and now it's compatible with my Motherboard. However, after this I still got similar errors.

I've done some digging and I think I've found the source of issue. It's my graphic card which is overclocked by default(ROG STRIX 3080OC).

When I turn off the overclock with GPU Tweak III, I don't get any error messages. I hope this helps people having similar problems.

@alcakmuhendis Good to know, ya still can oc it , but then lower the voltage 😉
Close, deleter or set topic as solved please.
