You guys going to do your job and help me out here? I've tried reinstalling everything, including the EA app, updated all my drivers, updated BIOS, got all the Windows updates, deleted every file associated to EA off my copmuter before I reinstalled the app and BF2042.allowed all the services and the anti cheat to be exempt by my firewall, and literally every other nonsense suggestion I've found online. Is this game even * playable? Or did EA rob me?
I've included one for my C drive, which is where my OS and the EA app are located, as well as my D drive, where I store the games themselves, in this case, Battlefield 2042.
@GoodyearQVGC I do not see any software to config a controller. But i do see a lot of software running in the background ya dont need to play BF2042. Also if ya end all those processes, background software, ya gain system performance again. It will be more clicky / faster.
Download the protable version of RevoUninstaller at https://www.revouninstaller.com/nl/start-freeware-download-portable/ Start this program as an administrator. Now in RevoUninstaller goto: TOOLS then AUTO RUNMANAGER Now untick everybox thats possible , the more the better. for example:
AUEPMaster.exe, also known as AMD User Experience Program Master DDVDataCollector.exe , designed to collect and store various types of system data sdxhelper.exe , part of the Microsoft Office suite FileCoAuth.exe , part of ONEDRIVE , ?<- disable onedrive if ya game AUEPDU.exe, also known as AMD User Experience Program Master DDVRulesProcessor.exe , DDVRulesProcessor.exe is necessary if you are using Dell's support and diagnostic services Dell.TechHub.exe , provide users with easy access to support, system health, and updates GameManagerService.exe , Razer Game Manager, is designed to provide a range of features for gamers wargamingerrormonitor.exe , Wargaming.net Game Center amdow.exe , Radeon Settings: Desktop Overlay is a software utility Agent.exe , Flexera Software’s InstallShield Update Service Agent CrossDeviceService.exe <- disable it if ya dont use it
there are many more services to end , STEAM , EPIC ,OfficeClickToRun , PhoneExperienceHost , OneDrive.exe , Battle.net , Wargaming.net , Discord , GalaxyClient , ms-teams , GalaxyClient Helper, ect ect ect ect
Dont worry , ya dont install anything , ya just disable this software from booting with windows. If ya need this software , just click the shortcut and it will launch it. (or enable it in REVOUNINSTALLER again) After ya disabled those processes/background software , ya need to reboot youre system. Test if game launches (ps do ya feel/see how fast ya system is now?)
Update us what it did for you, Cheers
Right click this image and select to open in a new TAB
Cleanboot can be just a one time clean boot ! Use msconfig to disable apps permanent each for new reboot. - In the search box on the taskbar, type msconfig and select System Configuration from the results. - On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all. - On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager. - Under Startup in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then select Disable. - Close Task Manager. - On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select OK. When you restart the computer, it's in a clean boot environment.
Now test game (do not enable software with revouninstaller) Update us please.
Well now the EA app won't even launch, it's saying background service crashed. I'll see if Google has a quick fix for that I guess, then let you know if I managed to make any progress with the actual game.
Well, everything seems to be holding up for now. No anticheat error yet. Still have no idea what it could have been, or why they even utilize the anticheat system in the first place. What ever happened to BattleEye?
@GoodyearQVGC Glad you were able to solve the error 115 issue. For what it's worth, it looks like it was caused by a software conflict; it should've told you the software that was being blocked at the time. Did you not see this in the error box?
Also, if you actually work for EA, and specifically for the Anti Cheat team, explain to me why exactly EA Anti Cheat is even a thing? It doesn't prevent hackers from ruining the game, it only prevents legitimate players like myself from playing, and ultimately buying your games. To prove my point, I only played BF2042 for about 5 minutes after I got my problem solved before I immediately uninstalled it again. Why? Because the only people playing the game are hackers. Your anticheat system does not work, just abandon it.
Also, not exactly much of a fix. I might not be getting the error now, but literally no other program on my PC works. Thanks for bricking my PC, you * *. I'm going to dox you trolls.
@GoodyearQVGC Remember that if ya did a cleanboot or disable programs from booting with windows done by revouninstaller, ya can undo that
In revouninstaller ya need to goto tools then startup manager again and tick the boxes from the programs that should run when ya boot windows. If ya did disable programs with msconfig (cleanboot example( ya can undo that to.
