Re: EA anticheat error 117

First of all, I'm sorry about my poor English.

I have a problem with starting BF2042 after last update.

Everytime I tried start BF2042, error msg pop up on screen and BF not started.

I'm on EA original version (not steam version)

"EA AntiCheat Service encountered an error. Please restart the game(116)"

A screenshot attached (Korean language)

What I tried to do:
1) check file integrity in EA App
2) clearing EA App cache
3) reboot PC
4) launch EA App and BF2042 with administrator rights

5) reinstall both EA App and BF2042

6) reinstall both EA App and BF2042 in another ssd drive

and nothing helped.

Please help about this. Thanks

    I wonder why my post(#6) is put together here. My problem is error "116" not "117". Anyway, unfortunately @Lallluk his solution doesn't work for me.

    Good afternoon,

    I recently reinstalled 2042 and I cannot get it to run. Every time I launch the game I get this popup.
     
    Error

    I tried various fixes suggested in these forums and on reddit including enabling secure boot/TPM.
    Running EA APP and game as Admin.
    Running game with different compatibility.
    Reinstalled game on another drive and verify files.
    Cleared cache and temp files.
    Uninstalled and reinstalled EA App with revo.
    DISM++ cache clear.
    Installing EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe and EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.dll certificates. 
    Uninstalling and reinstalling and repairing the AC with EAAntiCheat.Installer.Tool.exe.

    None of these fixes worked.
    I am on windows 10 22H2. I5-13600K 32GB RAM 3060TI all latest drivers.

    Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

    Same here. I had this problem after S6 update. I'm on EA version.

    What I tried to do:
    1) check file integrity in EA App

    8) update BF2042 EAAntiCheat

    10) DISM++ cache clear

    And it is not fixed.

    Same probem here, still doesnt works, it say that the EA background services has been desactivated and the application could not start.

    I've tried the CFG exeption also...

    Still the same error here! this start to become really anoying...

    Utkarsh: I understand your situation this will gets fix soon But I really wanted to help you, however I am unable to provide you another solution for the same issue, and I will need to end the contact if there is nothing else that I can help you with.

    means no solution and we are stuck with an unplayable game... scam scam
