Its possible that ds4windows is triggering anti cheat , cause the "cheat" settings/profile.
BF2042 is supporting different controllers standard in OPTIONS, ya dont need ds4windows for your controller at bf2042.

If ya want to play BF2042 , ya have to make sure any task/services from ds4windows is not running 😉

PS some controllers could need an update or arent compatible in BF2042
ds4windows is triggering Anticheat !
Probarly rewasd and joytokey also !

USE REVOUNINSTALLER TO DELETE ALL FILES / FOLDERS AND REGISTRY SETTINGS FROM THIS SOFTWARE !

I know for sure Ds4windows is triggering the anti cheat. Yes I do need ds4winows to run my PS3 controller because it only supports PS4 and up.

I have the same issue so atm I found that DualSenseX by Paliverse works straight out of the box. Get it from Github or steam though. I believe the "dualsensex com" site isnt legit.
