This is indeed an issue that we are actively looking into, as it's something that seems to repeat itself every time a patch gets released for PC EA app players.
Please read before performing the 'temporary' (until another patch gets released) solution:
Could you please share the following here in the thread?EA app Error Report ID
- Please share an EA app Error Report ID here in the thread. Steps can be found here on how to generate this ID.
- If you cannot open the EA app, you can still generate an Error Report ID by following the steps mentioned underneath the section called "I can't open the EA app".
EA app logs
- Please share logs of the EA app, by either creating a .rar file of them and adding them to your post,
- The EA app logs can be found in C:\ProgramData\EA Desktop\Logs & C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\Logs.
Again, please do this before performing the 'temporary' solution (until another patch gets released).
'Temporary' solutionSpoilerIf you are playing on PC EA app and if the EA app did not offer the patch to you, please make sure to perform an EA app recovery and check if you can download/install the new patch.
Alternatively, try to repair the game via the EA app.
If you do not have the newest patch installed, it's working as intended and matchmaking (for every mode) will fail.Thanks in advance!
