Yep, this has been happening to me too. CPU spikes cause tons of stuttering in the game, then it balloons up to 20+ GB of memory used. 13900k/4090 and the game is pretty unplayable.

This isn't only affecting 2042, anything that uses EA Anti Cheat is currently unplayable for me.
Anything for this yet? its a memory leak caused by the anti cheat.
I am 100% never supporting or buying any EA game again. they don’t care for our experience or overall consumer side of things. 0 updates 0 acknowledgment publicly about the issue and it’s been over a week with the issue making any game that uses the anti cheat impossible to play, with a wide range of people dealing with this mistake made by their team. Goodbye EA enjoy my money bc you’re not getting another dime from me.
