Re: Frequent 0 XP with video and screenshots.

We are still investigating the issue and would like to have some more info from you.

The teams would like to know which Game Modes you are playing/have played when you encountered this problem, and possible dates/times this happened for you?

@EA_Leeuw  It happens in both the official Portal and AoW game modes. Over this last weekend I tried to play an official Portal game mode to see if would unstick my points progression to get it moving forward again and it seemed to work granting me two dot’s worth of XP. At that Point I switched back to playing AoW (which I play over 90% of the time) BUT, After playing one round of AoW my progression bar popped up at the end “missing” the two dots of XP that I just earned playing in portal and it also took away one more for a total loss of three XP dots. I kept playing AoW and it randomly would add XP and take it away after each match (gain a dot then lose one or two dots) over and over.  I lost track of how many games I actually played because of this to finish off the last few dots of XP needed for the level 97 unlock. Once level 97 showed as complete I used my earned Boins to buy the last three levels to reach level 100. I didn’t want it to randomly start earning in reverse again and lose more progression.
 One more thing, my Season One Badge progression has been stuck with no points progression though all of this. Once it progressed to about 1/2 way through the XP needed to reach Tier 1 it’s been stuck there. I should have earned enough XP to have the Tier 1 badge unlocked already. Game after game played in “any game mode” and it’s still frozen  showing the same amount of points.

The Battlefield teams are aware of this issue and continue their investigation as to what could be causing this issue. 

Unfortunately, we don't have any updates to share at the moment.

Me too. For over a month with the problem reported and even after this last update the error persists. I still don't gain experience after the games are over.

AoW XP advancement is still broken and is randomly awarding Zero XP when I join games that are already in progress and are nearing completion.

This new 1-minute video clip below shows latency and server info at the top edge of the screen. It shows all the way through to the end XP totals where I get shorted 13,220 points. I'm still playing on PC with no connection or hardware issues during matches. Hope this new info helps in figuring out exactly what is going on. Please view in 1440 full screen to see the network bar at the top clearly.

Here's another one with all the network windows open. I joined a breakthrough game that was already in progress with only the last two C1 & C2 flags left to defend. As you can see in the video, my end of game totals should have awarded 10,515 points. I checked a screen shot saved from the previous round and the 38,825 XP needed to next rank “as shown in the video” was exactly the same. The points did not get added. I’ve lost count on how many times this has happened but I would conservatively say I’m missing somewhere around 500,000+ points of XP now.

@EA_Leeuw  The attached video is long but this time I have it captured with all the network windows open. 3.5 hours of gameplay on a single official portal server condensed down into 8.5 minutes of errors. Please video in 1080HD so graphs can be seen clearly.

@EA_Leeuw I do not mean to bother your but I must confess that I met the problems as well. I have been keeping gaining 0 XP after every round for almost a month.  And I stuck in Rank S251 for a long time. I hope your team have found the problem and is working on it. The Season 2 is on its way. If the team cannot fix the bugs on XP, it will be very hard for players to upgrade their Pass ranks through weekly missions. And what I paid for the Premium Pass will all be a waste.

C'mon DICE. This is getting old. Fix your bugs. Do better.

Exatamente! Se eles não arrumarem este absurdo até lá, devem liberar os níveis de passe de batalha para quem está com este bug! NADA MAIS JUSTO!

Update worked for me and my friends from Discord. After downloading 2.0 Patch XP progression seem to be back to normal.

@EA_Leeuw  What about the lost experience issue ? Many players have lost weeks of playtime. Is there any solution to bring back lost XP ?

@EA_Leeuw  UPDATE: Portal games are still randomly broken after the Season 2 patch. (see pic)

 Right after I took this screenshot, the Season 2 points screen tabulated all the points at the top like normal but when finished they were NOT awarded in the bottom bar (just like in the XP level screenshot below). All the bottom bar on the Season 2 screen did when the points at the top finished adding was to light up and flash once. No progression advancement or dots were awarded at the bottom of that screen.
