yup... it's been more than 2 months now since I had this problem and nothing seems to fix it, at some point I just gave up trying fixing it for several weeks.
It only launched twice in that time period and for reasons unknown, as I didn't modify anything prior to launching, anyway it stopped working the day after in both cases.
I think the only thing I've not tried yet is clean installing windows, but i'm not really motivated to do it anyway, having seen the results of who attempted.
Maybe the Big Brother was on the watch yesterday because it just started working today, no fixing attempts whatsoever.
I'll update tomorrow- Yeah, stopped working again

@Lorusky Can you try the following:
Try starting Origin as an admin, then click on repair the game. At the end of the repair, you should get the EAC splash, and then it closes and Origin should say that the game is ready to be played.
We seen it work for some of our colleges.

- @EA_Atic Sorry for the delay, actually some days later I managed to fix that by disabling virtualization of the CPU in the BIOS, don't know how virtualization could have issues with EAC (other EAC games worked perfectly) but it seems it did, I'll try turning it back on some time in the future and see if the issue comes back
