@cheofdoom Same here, multiple reboots don’t help either. Ended up logging-out last night due to this.

Hey folks, just wanting to check is it happening for both of you *only* on Discarded?
If you are on PC can you try running a repair of the game and letting me know if that makes a difference.- @EA_Rtas Hi 👋
I’m on PS5, and yes, it’s only happening on Discarded…all other maps are unaffected (for me, anyway). I am having similar issue, mine is just infinitely loading, its not frozen, but never loads. I have tried multiple times and sat on loading screen for 15min with nothing and have to alt f4 out everytime.
- @EA_Rtas It’s now “frozen” on Exposure.
Tried restarting the game multiple times, Hazard Zone won’t initiate any map but Exposure…which hangs on the picture of the mountains and trees, with the little cross at the bottom spinning.
Everyone must be off making sure the next BF game is going to be fantastic, huh?
🙄🥸 - @EA_Rtas Restarted the game again, turned cross play off.
Managed to get into a PS5-only lobby on Breakaway. Unfortunately only 2 of us in the lobby (you can’t get enough players unless you turn cross play on these days).
Left that lobby, turned cross play on again, selected Hazard Zone, game is hanging again on Exposure

infinit loading in every maps, hasard zone is broken, i just reinstalled the game like a week or so
I hawe tried repair and reinstall, it didnt make a difference
and recently the game crashes alot
For me deleting the cache folder at AppData\Local\BattlefieldGameData.kin-release.Win32\cache (or similar, I had two) solved the issue!
i tried yesterday! and I did nothing special just retry for fun HZ and fir attemps it was still at the infinit loading map screen, so i force ctrl alt delete to close the game, restart and tried again, and miracle, i did play like 5-6 game in a row without any problem... so i dont know if EA did a bugfix or somwething..

This time it’s on Hourglass, with crossplay enabled.
Have a word with the team, please….they’ve obviously not repaired this.

Funny thing is I just had the same issue again, with Discarded too. Deleting the cache didnt help this time. Maybe it never helped in the first place and its a server related issue?
I’ve no idea - I’m on PS5 so there’s nothing I can do about it, cache-wise.
I managed to get on Hazard zone last night with no issues.

It happens on different maps and on consoles as well. It has been failing for a month now.
Today, Saturday, October 19, for 6 hours now, Hazard Zone has been closed to play in the United States.This is still an issue, PC, PS5, XBOX all have the same issue. Hazard will get stuck on loading screen and you must reboot. The game will continue to load into the same broken map over and over again.
This appears to be an East Coast server issue as its less common on the West Coast Servers.
One of our group sat on the loading screen for DIscarded for 10+ minutes just to see what happened.

Just played 2 games of Hazard zone, then the map rotated onto Orbital and the game is hung…
Any EA reps about?
Or hibernating for winter?
This has been going on for weeks now. Every other day, the map gets stuck. It's usually the east coast servers.
- @Amazotron (i'm on PC). i deleted my two cache folders down in AppData, started the game, went into HZ, and am hung on Discarded. i'll offer my help in debugging this issue. i'm a developer (not a game developer), so if you need logs turned on or things like that, let me know.
Even if it's noble I don't think they would hand you something that's proprietary. I don't think the devs care about the issue obviously, my guess is that they switch server for cheaper ones.

yes, either cheaper servers or maybe something in their backend goes to sleep if none is playing or very few people are playing and its not properly booting back up? no idea
This is a bummer. I’m trying to get all the trophies in the game but this is holding me back.
And still broken. Normally I'd see at least 100 players in HZ on any given night.
Tonight for the first time in 2.5 years, it is 0. There are no friends on my list playing HZ.
We played a little last night through contortions - at least 2 of the squad needed to be VPN'ed
to the west coast servers, and if Discarded came up, you had to leave game before it tried to
load.
Congratulations, EA. You have killed Hazzard Zone.
