Re: Hazard Zone freezes on map load

Any solutions? I have this issue from yesterday!

infinit loading in every maps, hasard zone is broken, i just reinstalled the game like a week or so

Just tried to play Hazard zone, it’s hanging again! 

This time it’s on Hourglass, with crossplay enabled.

Have a word with the team, please….they’ve obviously not repaired this.

This is still an issue, PC, PS5, XBOX all have the same issue. Hazard will get stuck on loading screen and you must reboot. The game will continue to load into the same broken map over and over again.

This appears to be an East Coast server issue as its less common on the West Coast Servers.

One of our group sat on the loading screen for DIscarded for 10+ minutes just to see what happened. 

@EA_Rtas please help 🙏 

Just played 2 games of Hazard zone, then the map rotated onto Orbital and the game is hung…

Any EA reps about?

Or hibernating for winter? 

This has been going on for weeks now. Every other day, the map gets stuck. It's usually the east coast servers.

@EA_Rtas HZ maps are broken again as of now.

It was working a couple of days ago, then a day of Discarded hanging. Eventually all of 

the servers were on Discarded and all HZ ground to a halt. Then yesterday everything

was working again. Today maps are hanging.

Even if it's noble I don't think they would hand you something that's proprietary. I don't think the devs care about the issue obviously, my guess is that they switch server for cheaper ones.

yes, either cheaper servers or maybe something in their backend goes to sleep if none is playing or very few people are playing and its not properly booting back up? no idea

This is a bummer. I’m trying to get all the trophies in the game but this is holding me back.

And still broken. Normally I'd see at least 100 players in HZ on any given night. 

Tonight for the first time in 2.5 years, it is 0. There are no friends on my list playing HZ.

We played a little last night through contortions - at least 2 of the squad needed to be VPN'ed

to the west coast servers, and if Discarded came up, you had to leave game before it tried to

load.

Congratulations, EA. You have killed Hazzard Zone.

No wonder they get slated.

I’ve Googled clearing the cache on PS5, it mentions rebuilding the database and / or ensuring files are backed-up to an external drive before doing so, etc.

What’s been changed by EA to cause these issues? Any clue?

Are you advocating this cache clearing for console users who’re suffering these issues?

I tried both deleting the folder and deleting the content and it didn't fix it.

I’m glad to hear it hasn’t worked, vis-a-vis some EA shill might actually reply when they admit it’s a change they’ve made which is causing the issue for everyone. 

They’ll be reading this, it’s only adding fuel to the fire that the next game will be riddled with issues, and they aren’t worried about sorting this one, so how good will the next one be? 

@EA_Rtas still broken, now Renewal will not launch and is doing the same thing.

Same here. It was only on Discarded map for the last few weeks, but now it's doing it on Renewal map and Hazard Zone now only ever tries to load Renewal map, nothing else. Have to use task manager to shut the game down to get out of it. Getting really annoyed by this. On PC btw.

Damn EA saying nothing as usual. They still haven't fixed the conflict with MalwareBytes software either, have to shut that down now if I want to play BF2042.

The issue comes and goes. I was able to play for a week straight and now its back.

Stuck on Renewal now every time I queue.

Hello, seems EA has one broken server and when game is connecting you to that broken server to get stuck. 

Just managed to get a round in now. Manifest map.

Seems EA does not care it.
