A high time nudge is usually caused by packet loss and/or a fluctuating ping time. Do you see any of these happening in the network graph? Playing on wifi can cause ping fluctuations, also known at network variations, or net var for short.
no my ping stay stable, I have only the yellow rectangle icon. I have try with Ethernet cable directly on the modem but nothing change.
I think the yellow rectangle icon means low framerate.
Its caused by Chapter 3 .. they messed something up. Game ran fine until Chap 3 was released!!!!!! People have been complaining about this TN thing since its release!!!

it's seem to be related to the high cpu usage, I create this .cfg file in the bf2042 install folder and it work for me. Just delete the "//..." part and make sure your file is a .cfg
I can't believe this issue resolved to me so simply and DICE hasn't fix it yet, since 2 month!
My experience has been the complete opposite to this. I have had time nudge spikes since i started playing this past summer constand just like he was having. My ping 24-27 usually sometimes lower I eliminated every possible option from drivers to bios to direct connection without a router and none of it made a difference. Im on fiber connection and have stable connection with zero fluctuation and up till the 3.1 update it was mad issues with time nudge at 10-15 max except when any opposing player was near mine would instant spike to 500-2000+ on my time nudge. No matter how many shots id shoot i would instant die with them at 100% health. Everyone on here keeps saying it your hardware....hardware issue...hardware issue and its not the case. Its an easy out for others that have never had that issue the truth is the issue is on EA/dice side and they have messed up this game to the point that they cant fix it. This last update to me proved it since suddenly I have no time nudge issue and now others are having the issue I did and it doesnt just pick and choose. It was very frustrating when it was happening to me for months and even more frustrating when they had the client side/server side hit reg and seeing that 50-75% or more of my shots not registering. This whole issue imo is caused by EA screwing up at launch so badly that they lost most of their player base and to compensate they had to shut servers down and then compensate players with high ping at the cost of the low ping players and then people started using Dns servers to inflate their ping to get an advantage making the whole situation worse. Most of the players left would leave if they actually fixed the core issue of the servers cause they are the only ones benefiting and wanting to stick around. I honestly feel that this is the way this game will be from here on out either that or they fix it and no one is left playing and they have to shut down the servers. Having said all that im glad that I can actually play for a change and have some fun but its to little to late for me. Months of loosing every gun fight thats close range killed it for me and it was to the point if I seen an opposing player and I had the jump on them or they didnt see me at all I would turn and run the other way cause even then I would die and they would still have 88-100% health. Seriously I know im not that bad of a shot 40+ rounds from a lmg or 15 from an auto shotgun at point blank range shooting them in the back and still I would die and they would have 88-100% health. Sorry for the rambling. This is how the game was for me for way to long and the dev's dont care
Hello, I've been looking through all the possible topics with this question. And I already made user.cfg, and knocked down fps in the nvidia panel. I replaced the Internet with a more powerful one, reinstalled the anti-cheat, the game, updated all the drivers, in win 11 everything is also updated. The problem doesn't go away. Packet loss is on, TM jumps in battles 64 and 128 to the level of "pull out eyes". Please help me what can be done.
