you have to use Notepad++ as I said in this thread. Don't use regular notepad.
Also, I found that the enableconsole was only in one of the prosaves, I Found it in the file prosave, not prosave_profile.
please read this thread my posts and updates (all of them) as this is how I figured it out.
If you're going to use the notepad++ to edit the file, just be very careful as I said.
- Also be sure to get the correct - official notepad++
- you can wiki notepad++ to find the official page / info I believe.

Haven't played 2042 in MONTHS
Too many cheats/hacks for my taste but it's payed for and so I'm sure I'll be back eventually lol
