@techb00merok lets do a windows and drive check.

Press Windows key + 'R' ,typ CMD
Press and hold down CTRL + SHIFT and press ENTER.
When User Account Control shows up, click Yes.
Use the following command lines, pressing Enter after each
(make sure you wait till each of the commands is executed properly):

sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

reboot your computer
now again:
Press Windows key + 'R' ,typ CMD
Press and hold down CTRL + SHIFT and press ENTER.
When User Account Control shows up, click Yes.
enter this command: chkdsk /f /r
press enter , it will tell ya it will do a check next time you reboot youre computer !
Close CMD , and reboot , you will see a message to cancel chkdsk to press any key , DO NOT CANCEL !
So do NOT press any key

Now take your time, this check can take some time ,, 1 till 3 hours ,depends drive size !

    @Rokebo73 since these issues started, i have completely wiped and re-installed windows twice, and also used a new drive entirely.

    Its not windows, and its not a disk issue. Others are having this problem.

    It is happening to me very very frequently. A lot of time repairing files works, but if I close the game and try to rerun it, this loop happens again. Repairing doesn't help all the time though. This is probably the only game in existence that is doing this.

    Another checking in with the issue since the last patch.

    As with others if I don't see the new season splash screen I just ctrl / alt / delete instantly.

    Almost always loads on the 2nd go around but there have been a few time a complete shut down / restart has been required.

    Now the game is also hanging / freezing after exiting a map before the end. I get a black screen and that's it.

    Going to need a macro for Ctrl / alt / delete...........

    Bought game via steam.

    Had the same issue.

    Slapped it from HDD on my SSD - issue resolved.
