Re: Low fps RTX 2080
@stevejaara You should try to reinstall your drivers and use DDU before installing alternatively reinstall your Nvidia-driver with a 'clean install' (select during install).
@cso7777- It's a common CPU utilisation problem. Activating the performance overlay for fps (typing "perfoverlay.drawfps 1" in the command line brings it up) shows that the GPU is being underutilised because the CPU isn't keeping up with it. I often see GPU frames and render lantency up to 180 fps/6ms, with CPU frames in the low 40s/25ms.
If you look at the image the OP shared from his Nvidia performance overlay, you'll see his CPU is running at 96%, bottlenecking the performance.
i already done this didnt work
@filthy_vegansMissing colors and other strange artifacts after a driver update could be a driver that is broken and this can sometimes be fixed with DDU and a reinstall of the driver.
"FIX" Go to your documents folder and delete the whole Battlefield 2042 folder.
After an Nvidia driver Update something must have caused bad files. The game will recreate the folder after your next launch and everything should work fine again. You even dont need to downgrade your drivers.
A comment i saw on a video fixed it for me
