Re: Low FPS/Stuttering Since Last Patch

Since the game updated I've gotten crazy stuttering. It's like the game trues to catch up to what has happened. Fps drops from 140 to like 10 for a half second.

I've cleared the cache, reinstalled the game and did clean driver installs.

Specs i9 9900k, rtx 4090, 64 gb ram. Installed on a m.2

@Lonehelljump3r  I do see some possible issues:
Drive: C: - Free Space: 11.0 GB make sure you got enough free space at youre boot drive !!! Its needed for this

(settings / system / about / advanced system settings )

    then get to:

Youre able to move the virtual memory to a other drive, but this will give LESS performance !!!
Make sure you make more free space at boot drive !

Also disconnect all the hardware (usb) thats not needed for bf2042:

Disconnect Virtual Display Adapter, Holographic Display, game controllers ect ect ect

Lower down youre desktop resolutions and Hz at all monitors that are connected. (SET THEM ALL THE SAME RESOLUTION AND HZ)

Also lower resolution and Hz in game display settings !

Keep us up to date !
    Cheers

  • I've tried 2 sets of ram. 32 gb 3866 and 64 gb 3733. Also 2 video cards rtx 4090 and 3090. I've replaced the psu from a 1000 watt gold to 1300 platinum. Ddu driver, disabled cores, turned my overclock down and up. I'm lost.
