The problem seems to have gone away since the latest patch and since updating to the latest Nvidia drivers; I also run the game in 'borderless' mode. I'd also deleted the cache and attempted a clean boot, neither of which helped by themselves.
Out of interest, are any of you finding that it's worse on some maps than others? It wasn't as common on the Portal maps as it was on the 2042 ones.
- @CableTongue I get it in all maps but I haven't tried portal ones yet. Something I have noticed is my cpu usage drops to like 20% when it happens. I'm running windows 11 idk if that changes anything.
@Lonehelljump3rOk I fixed it myself. After trying all the internet fixes (clearing cache, user.cfg file, process lasso, ect), updating bios, trying different gpus and ram kits. The fix is to reinstall a clean windows. Now I'm back at 4k ultra at around 140+ fps with zero stuttering.
