Hey @ShuttyMetz,
If you see in-game that you are still on 5.1.0, and you made sure that there is no update waiting for you anymore after clearing the EA app cache or BF2042 Game repair, then it's related to something we are aware of as well.
If you open the in-game settings and see the following info, you are on Update 5.1.1:
Code: 18519013
Data: 5047935 Defo stuck on 5.1.0. Pleased you know that that is part of the issue

@ShuttyMetz, okay so just to confirm; the Code and Data numbers are different for you, and you do not see an available update for the game after performing the EA app Recovery and Game Repair?
Yes my numbers are different and the version shown in the bottom left on the main screen ingame is 5.1.0
No available update is shown even after a game repair and a cache clear

@ShuttyMetz, could you try to force-restart the EA app? And maybe restart your PC?

Getting same problem on Xbox since update, restarted the game and the Xbox multiple times now but no luck
Restarted my PC, force restarted the app, still no luck

@ShuttyMetz @Monster_N01, could I ask you to share the Code and Data numbers that you see?
Make sure in the EA app that its settings/Downloads/Updates = update game automatically is on. Although this will update the game it still has the issue of not entering a game with the error code.

@Monster_N01 @ShuttyMetz, alright. I see that those Code and Data numbers are the same as what I mentioned here and here, meaning that you in fact have Update 5.1.1 installed.
For reference here is my error code
so we have to wait for EA to solve the problem?

The issue has been resolved:
If you are still experiencing the issue, please restart your device and try again.
now it works and in option game version is :
Version: 5.1.0
Code: 18.519.013
Data: 5.047.935
Update stuck, even after several retries. The download just stalled (on a stable 1 Gbps wired connection). Had to run repair twice to get it working. Some days I’m spending way more time troubleshooting and waiting for servers to get back than actually playing. This is barely a beta quality experience.
