Re: Mouse input lag/stutter makes game unplayable

@Xypherius Yop

Can confirm. same issues wired or wireless.
I dit not have any issues during beta tho. only now on release.
Don't know if this actually could be server related lag?

I dont think its a server issue. This is an app code issue that the devs need to address. If you try to use your arrow keys on your keyboard, it works just fine (smooth as expected). But obviously who tf will be using arrow keys to aim and shoot lol.

  • Hah,

Last time i used arrow keys for aiming and shooting was back in the old Doom/Castle wolfenstein era.

    OK. - I have a temporary workaround

    I started the game

    Entered a match

    Disconnected my mouse

    Reconnected my mouse

success - no more mouse lag/stutter

    Still to test:

I dont know if this is persistent over to the next match. only tried a couple of minutes in one match.

    Small update:

I quit the game to verify my workaround (u know, replicate my solution following the same steps)

Once I entered a new match after restarting the game and preparing to unplug my usb dongle i moved my mouse around to see how bad the lag was this time.

And to my surprice - no mouse lag.

I guess this most likely will change after a full reboot of my computer tho.

Aaaaand I just debunked my workaround.

The input lag returned after some time in a match.

    Got worse and worse

I trid to replicate - no go.

  • I have the exact same problem and really annoying as I have been waiting to play this for months and then when released the mouse barely shows on screen.  I have a RTX2070.

The only thing I can see is that the CPU is being maxxed out but keyboard and Graphics all work perfectly!

I have a lot of stuttering, mouse and keyboard input is unplayable, I will move the mouse to the left or right and it takes a second to catch up, this finally cleared up but now I have bad stuttering.

Here what I tried to fix the problem.

    1. Clean boot through msconfig
    2. Turned off any over lays through Nvidia and Origin.
    3. Since I use steam, I checked the integrity of the game files.
    4.I ran a chkdsk /f and a chkdsk /r
    5. Ran a SFC /Scannow to make sure it wasn't Windows Specifically.
    5. Completely deleted the game and removed all files that were left over.

No other game I have is acting this way so I'm not sure what else I can do.

    Here is my DXDIAG
