Solved my problem aswell. I was able to change the keybind as intended after deleting cache folder.

Na even after re install and delete that cache folder, still have the issue. Gutted.

@KFC_Huck4beeThis did not help my game, even after re-install and clean boot its still asking for a controller to clear mouse keybinds. When I press ESC it assigns "Mouse5" By default.

I deleted my cache folder, i am still unable to bind to the mouse. Any other ideas?

Had the same issues, unable to bind mouse buttons: Here is the fix for me: Highlight the setting you wanna change with arrow buttons, then to bind the mouse button, press RIGHT arrow button, now you can set any button on mouse by clicking the button you want to use.. Do not click with mouse on highlighted line on the mouse section to select mouse button, use right arrow button on keyboard...
