Re: (PC) Starting in windowed mode

@Killawatts808 Hi,

try and press alt+enter at the same time to change from windowed mode to fullscreen mode.

See if this changes anything.

    Sorry - not tracking this solution.

    When game starts, it starts in windowed mode, even though set to fullscreen in settings. You're suggesting alt+enter "at same time" as what?

    We really shouldn't have to press alt+enter at any point, if the setting is working properly.

  • This is still an issue in 2023.

    Windows 11, fully updated as of 2/20/23. Nvidia game-ready drivers 528.49. Frequently starts in a window despite display settings showing fullscreen. ALT+Enter works sometimes, other times I have to close and try to re-open several times.

    Agreed. It went away for a while and is back for at least 4 weeks.

    The alt+enter trick does not work any longer.  Also when going to borderless that changes to some what fullscreen but it doesn't look right to me. Then if I go to fullscreen it doesn't apply the change, if i switch to windowed that always reverts back to window mode. It is just failing to launch in to fullscreen mode.

    my desktop resolution is 4k at 125% scale and then I run the game at 1440p so that could be why this is impacting me and not everyone.
