I know it might sound a lot to ask, especially if you've done it already a couple of times, but are you maybe able to repair/verify the game one more time (via Origin or Steam, depending where you've bought it), and see if it launches correctly for you?

Since I changed the SATA AHCI controller driver, the game runs fine for me. Played it a few times the last two days. Runs fine for me. But I have done a repair for you again. After that I always got a 30005 error. To solve this I had to start Origin once as administrator. The game then started normally. After the one time I could start Origin without administrator rights again normally. The game now always starts normally as before.

@Bobby250500My dude!!! Having been lurking on this thread and attempting everyone's methods for a while. None of that work till this one.

But my case is a little bit different. Although I'm running SATA AHCI setup according to my BIOS, I don't have the IDE ATA/ATAPI Controller on my device manager. But I do have a set of StoreMi drivers that's from AMD and storage related. At first I thought that was something left over from a failed StoreMi install I did a few month ago, so I uninstalled them and reboot the system. But these drivers installed themselves back and suddenly my EAC problem is gone. No more 1 second freeze, no more long waiting for the game to boot. Have tried boot up the game several times in different senarios (like right at system boot up, playing with chrome and stuff running in the background etc.) and all success. It's fixed for real I think. I'm on Windows 11.

To be honest I don't even know what's going on anymore after all the different attempts. But it start working after I tinkered with these drivers so I will take that as what fixed my issue 🙂

EDIT: While BF2042 works perfectly now, but my other EAC games that's on this error 10011 issue such as Fall Guys is not fixed. Guess it's not a "complete" fix to EAC, but BF is running. That's good enough for now.

I don't know much about AMD StoreMi but I think StoreMi changes the drive data characteristics. I think you have to be careful about that. Changing the drivers can, I believe, make your drives unreadable to the system. Please someone correct me if I am wrong.

So just to double check with you all; the game is now working as intended and launching without EAC issues?

@EA_LeeuwYes sir on my end BF2042 working just fine now. At first there were still other EAC games that's having the issue. Then I cleaned up StoreMI completely, switched those disk driver back to standard driver like Bobby250500 did and all the EAC games are working now.

I have just repaired the game on steam as suggested and then had origin and steam to run as administrator.

The game finally launched with no freezes. Don't know if it's because I ran steam as well as admin or the game fixed itself over night xD
