Long shoot, but i cant Assembler :-) So i take big chance to guess...

i think if it comes old instructions to directx to gpu.

I have also downgrade gpu drivers, the drivers you have it total krash drivers for my computer and the game.

Cpu hard games, so i understand if they dice want to use gpu instead.

I try one time to logg bf2042.exe with directx12 panel and use microsoft software "PIX-2108.18-Installer.exe"

The computer chrash sooo hard :-) the gpu drivers was broken after that, soo i installed gpu drivers again.

And i found no logs. :-( 

Its not to late to give up.. Sooo i give up this now for a time.

I get different problem with Direcplay on i get this problem:

I unistall that directplay  im back to same old error:

That i think the put som bad/*code. With directplay they not have access and unistall/before  the gpu get wrong instruction from bf2042.exe..

Suggested the following, do this verbatim.  I am trying today, it involves installing the C++ redistributables.

I have  try this, Isacc EA support settings, i can try it again tommorrow.

I still think its game/software cant handel goood hardware, the code is bad, feel like train going to fast the train derails.

Today i test go back to the best version amd drivers have for battlefield version 21.10.2.

if not set this settings, it gone crash every time you start login.

Yeap it crash with 120mhz screen 120 mhz ingame and gsync on(low settings).

Goback to 100 mhz see if it crash,.

Following the instructions verbatim that I posted above, and completely reinstalling the game against c++ redistributables that came out recently, I personally do not get the crash.

I got a 25% performance increase, went from about 80hz lagathon to 120hz sustained. 

Stuttering has gone.

I have played since posting and have no errors...

i FOUND  NEW COMMAND IN GAME "RENDER.FORCEDX11"  SET VALUE TO 1 

COMMAND ESC, RENDER.FORCEDX11 1

i GET MORE FPS AND SOO FAR REAALY GOOD and it wooorks nooo CHras sooo long..

NOw i get 170fps to 190 fps and i can play on 144hz np, over 10 games now with out crash

Only  before i have every crash every game.

I have this  AMD GPU driver version 21.10.2.

I leave now this HQ for a time, it still works for me, no crash any longer(directx) when i force to direcx11. 

It goes better and get more fps, no micro stop.

Trust me I've probably had over a hundred crashers  during my troubleshooting.

Hardware gpu 6900 cpu 5900 and ram 32gb

@Efecte-SWEI would like to know where you put this command in game. I have readed this topic and experience the same issues with my Radeon VII instant crashes every time.

Crashed on 2nd game with the DX11 setting.  BF2042 is DX12 native.  There is no DX11 render path that I am aware of.  Dice just never cleaned up the options in the console or settings file.  

It's totally sick but it works for me, otherwise it crashes every game.

Why i test command RENDER.FORCEDX11 1 it is becuases early i look at the dump i can see directx11.dll are using. The dump from battlefield.

DirectX 12 is by far the latest version of DirectX and as such is part of Windows 10. However, as with all previous versions of DirectX, DirectX 12 does have support for DirectX 11, 10 and 9. This is how games that was designed specially for DirectX 9, 10 or 11 is still able to run. Want proof? Look for D3D11.DLL in the System32 folder of your Windows 10 installation. Can I have DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 installed at the same time? - Quora

My friend told me that you said(There is no DX11 render path that I am aware of), he test the command and get little more fps to.

Still have in PROFSAVE_profile   GstRender.Dx12Enabled 1  default install value was 0 Why 0? 

Works for me for the moment may well jump back when it crashes out again every game to direcx12(just stop write the command in consol).

I never have sooo big problem with a game before.

Fix didn’t work for me.  Did the entire process 3 times, the second I stood next to Sundance, the game crashed:
