Re: Resolved - PC Update 4.0.1 - Game won't go past EAC screen and EA app returns

I'm experiencing the symptom where the EAC splash screen shows up then eventually closes and EA App opens without the game starting. If I just keep restarting the game it eventually does start. Sometimes I have to start the game 5+ times before it finally works. Sometimes it will work on the 2nd try. Its somewhat random.

This all started a few days ago after the spike in players. Wondering if there is some backend server or network connection that is being overutilized as a result of increased players.

Keep trying to restart the game and see if it eventually does start.

Dont be surprised !
I did get this issue also after 4.01.
I did realy pretty much everything i know , no succes.

What i did that solverd it for me:
Unplug powercord from PC.
Now hold down the power button from pc for about 10 seconds.
Plugin powercord from pc and boot pc.

I still needed to start 2 time BF2042 before it started running again.
But now is everything ok, and no issues !
