Launch Registry Editor.
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\CProExclude.
In the CProExclude section, create a subsection with the program name without spaces.
Create a string parameter named FileName in the new folder. Value: ProgramName.exe - the name of the program or game launch file.
To restart a computer.Example:
Open the registry editor - regedit, go to the branch:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\CProExcludeCreate a sub-branch with the application name and the FileName parameter.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\CProExclude\application name]
"FileName"="application name.exe"Cant find a "CProExclude" subcategory
application name.exe - it is name is bf2042.exe?
can u get me screenshot for exempleI hope everything is visible
YES!!
it really works! I think we can close the topic.
after all the "dancing with a tambourine" this method is the most effective.Also tried it, by replecating the entry's. Didnt work for me at all :/ still waiting for a solution
Do you have McAfee AV, I think the registry key you are looking at is specific to McAfee so might not apply to all who are suffering this issue,
No MCAfee
- @Lililetha Apparently in our case, the launch of the bf was interfered with by the "cryptopro" program (section in the CProExclude registry). You need to look for what is blocking the game for you
@3T0_pzdcit does not work.
And in fact i was playing season 5 in the morning - then did the update at 12 -> then it started NOT working anymore!
... So what shall block? Season 6 was badly tested I guess. Any fix @EA???I also deactivated Windows Defender and of course the firewall - it does not help.
No other AV or Firewall.
Windows 11, Nvidia 3060. anything else that could help!?
- @minimalv3 yeah right. also played it before the update and was excided to play the new content in a few hours. now i'm debugging and trying already hours to fix something, that shouldnt need to be fixed...
I hope THEY fix it soon and i just need todo a small update.
@3T0_pzdc okay, thank you anyways 🙂 didnt knew it exaclty Same as llitetha here, I dont find CProExclude...
- @Lucho77737 It would only be valid if the software Cpro is installed... so .. no it will not work.
Ok thanks, what is this software is for, should I install it to potentially solve the problem or should I try another key in the register?
When i navigate to the path you state there is no CProExclude file for me don't know why are you on windows 11 ? i am on win 10
cheers
Ah sorry just read above i don't have that software on either...damn frustrating this fiasco !
- @EA_Leeuw @EA_Illium @EA_lana - anybody working on it please?
