Re: Stuck on standby screen

I'm on PS5 and I haven't seen this spoken about elsewhere. When I first search for a game I have no problem getting into a game. After that game is over, I hit search again and seemingly it finds a match, does a countdown and then nothing happens. The camera will slowly spin around my character and then eventually will reset such that I have to search again. No matter how many times I search it will just continue resetting and will not put me into a match. The only workaround I've found is to dashboard then close the game entirely and restart it. When I do this the cycle starts over, I get into one game, it ends, then I can't get into a game again until I restart the game again. 

I'm getting no errors, previously I was also getting the persistence error code, but now it is only this with no error code or anything. It is very frustrating, especially when I join a game and it glitches such that I have to quit or join a game that is basically over. 

I've searched with a friend as well and my friend will be able to get into a match, but I won't be able to and will be left in the matchmaking screen. 

Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. I haven't seen anything else like this on forums or reddit etc.
