  • @OldComrade What is the name of the file you deleted? Can you give the exact name of which file you deleted in the Battlefield files?

Did you ever solve this @OldComrade ?

Having the same issue with 2042 for the last week. Same entry in Event Viewer before the random crash to desktop. I too have tried every troubleshooting tip out there like deleting caches, uninstalling all the EAAnticheat files and running 2042 with the unlocked admin account so it doesn't have any permission issues, re-installed Windows and EA Desktop.

I get one more entry in the Event Viewer log after your entry and right before the crash:

File System Filter 'EAAntiCheat' (Version 10.0, ‎2024‎-‎05‎-‎17T07:55:31.000000000Z) unloaded successfully.

    then

The EAAntiCheatService service terminated with the following error:
    %%4294901875

(PS I've been playing 2042 on this PC for hundreds of hours without anything like this happening)

DxDiag attached if anyone has any clues.
