Re: Sundance- missing anti-vehicle grenade from belt

We are still investigating the issue and need some more information to track what is going on. 

• Write the date and start time when you are doing it example: ( Started October 26 - 15:43 gmt+2)
• Play a round with Sundance when convenient.
• What region are you in?

I am having the same issue as the others. No aa granade. Haven't had it for a while. I figured it was a bug to be fixed and quit playing Sundance. I only have scatter grenade.

All game modes.

Thanks for the feedback. If I can help, I'm happy to do so. So I played a round with Sundance on the map 'Breakaway' in Conquest mode on PC. The game started on October 27 at 07:25 pm GMT+2 and ran until 07:38 pm GMT+2. I played in the Europe/Germany region. Of course I could not select or use Anti Armor grenades.

Just a few thoughts on this that I have. Could it possibly have to do with the edition of the game or the Battle Pass. I am using the Standard Edition and do not have the Battle Pass. Possibly the AA grenade is somehow marked to only be available in the Ultimate Edition or with Battle Pass.

If you guys could find the bug, that would make me very happy.

I have Ultimate Edition and full Battlepass; and I still have the "no AA grenade glitch". And I'm XBOX Series X.

I have read that a player was on his same Xbox with same game installed, had the issue with his profile, but switched Xbox profiles and didn't have the issue.

I did some more testing.

Console : X Box Series X

Latest patches, etc...

My main profile only shows 1 grenade for Sundance (scatter).

On the same system with the same installation of BF2042; I created another Xbox profile and used that profile to sign into EA and BF2042. I used Sundance in a multi-player Conquest and success. Sundance had both grenades (scatter & aa).

I figured in the beginning this was a corrupt user data issue.

I have tried in the past to delete game and profile player data, but no success when reinstalling everything, as her grenade glitch is still there. So we know where the issue resides, now the tricky part of fixing the corruption.

I wish i could send screenshots of the rounds detail that could help you track the session and find logs about it. These screenshots have info (scoreboard) about all players playing the round. With that you could do a more specific query and see what you want to see. Unfortunately i don't see where i can attach those files in the thread. Let me know.

@EA_Atic I was able to use AA grenade for a few days after installing BF 2042 but then it was gone. I don't remember after what it happened exactly but it's missing since then, doesn't matter what mode / map I'm playing - I have only scatter grenade available for use (I even see only one dot on equipment bar above grenade icon)

@EA_Atic I’ve had this issue since August when I played in a custom portal HC Conquest session, with no HUD, and her AA grenades were disabled. I know it’s happening to quite a bit of players, since her AA grenades are barely seen in a match. She’s honestly a lot less useful now, and it’s sad that you can’t even figure out a way to reactivate them on a whole. I’ve played on a secondary account, and she still has them over there, but I definitely don’t join portal matches with that account because of it.

@EA_Atic Hi, sorry for radio silence on this for a while. I've just recorded my issue for you. It's the same as others have described - there's just no option to pick any other grenades.

I haven't tested recently, but I used to still get the lock-on icons for vehicles which had been tagged but just could only use Scatter.

I will try to play a round with Sundance later, the video is taken from an offline match I started to demo the issue. I always play from the UK.

I have not been able to use Sundance Anti-Armor grenade since the first month of release. I believe I joined a portal server that disabled it and now no matter what lobby AOW or portal im in it doesnt even show its available on my UI. Ive read many others having this problem and after spending 100$ on this game and the only preorder ive ever bought. Its very upsetting something like this is happening and seems to not be able to be fixed. I havent spent this much on a game before and I dont even have access to all of it. Dice... please

Please dice, this has also been an issue for me since season 1, I haven't been able to properly play sundance for months!!
There have been many players complaining about this on this forum as well as others, and with the recent patch notes I still see nothing has been done to address this!
