@BairRaisin007  yeah , bf2042 will use as many as possible cores/threads ! @BairRaisin007 Could be youre cpu or mem are bad / low quality.
If ya want to buy new cpu, ya need probarly also mem. thats compatible with the new cpu, checl website QVL list from motherboard.

Sometime its better to upgrade other parts that solves issues for long time. For example a new motherboard with cpu and mem.
Ya got an case , psu , gpu and drives already !
A good upgrade is most of the tome cheaper then only upgrade some parts and get issues soon again !

So im having the identical issue for the past 6 months although I believe my pc doesn't need an upgrade and should be fully capable of handling 2042 

Specs: 

CPU: 12th gen i7

GPU: RTX 3080 

Ram: 32gb

I tried the flushing dns and other stuff i saw recommended online but on the verge of giving up 

I'm running on a Ryzen 7, 32gb ram, and a RTX 2080. This problem keeps getting worse with each update. The game is just poorly optimized and I can't seem to get any direct response from EA or Dice about it. My CPU is running at 100% in game and is running around 80% in the menus. This is absurd and unacceptable. I also think it's unacceptable to tell people to upgrade their PCs to run like NASA rigs just so they can play this game instead of properly fixing the game by optimizing it so it isn't CPU dependent and lets the GPU do some work. 

I'm a lifelong Battlefield fan. Been playing it since 1942. But the terrible launches, ignoring the real problems, and generally disrespecting the player base has wore thin on me. This will be my last battlefield. I recommend you buy and play Battlebit Remastered instead. 3 dudes made a better game than EA and Dice. 

I do. Gameplay over graphics and a game that isn't broken AF on release from a group of people who respect their player base. Looking at the concurrent player count and online sentiment it seems many others agree. Battlebit is kicking 2042s * for a reason and unless EA and Dice recognize this battlefield is dead. 

Do you work for EA or Dice???? I respect you for your knowledge and help but either you work for them and your laughing at your players or you don't work for them and we can't get true support for this broken AF game. Either way it's bad for the franchise. 

Online sentiment alone proves that Battlebit is delivering a product that people want. Battlebit is being praised and the battlefield franchise is being mocked and for good reason. 

I think you replied to the wrong person. But since you're here I'll ask for a third time. Do you work for EA or Dice? A simple yes or no will do. If not then I will try to find a more direct communication to them so they can be aware of the issue.
