Hey all,
Could you please mention the region you are playing in?
My region is South Asia, the suggestion of deleting document contents, running platform as administrator and disabling EA nd Steam on startup proved for a temporary solution. I could get into the game 2 times but have been encountering the same error from the 3rd time onwards. Deleting the documents are really frustating since it deletes all of your custom keybinds. Hopefully it's fixed soon.
- EA_Leeuw@XE-BlackBurn, I get you. But so just to confirm; by (constantly) deleting the BF2042 files that are in the My Documents folder, you were able to join/play some matches, before being stopped by the Unable to Load Persistence Data error again?

@baguscool @Ipod46, there are no reports of any server issues or anything like that. Are you still experiencing this issue?
I am having this problem too for more then 5 days now.
I have tried every troubleshooting and it still doesnt work however turning on VPN does.
I have ZERO problems with any other games though even older BF titles- @EA_Leeuw Yes!
My detail was on the other thread seems the developer are not seeing this as main concern and now it was already 18 pages! But no one from the developer are jump in into this thread and only blame the ISP from the other thread,
How come I can play other online game such as battlefield V, chivalry or fall guys with low ping but whenever I play battlefield 2042 it shows unable to load persistence data
BTW I'm done with battlefield 2042 as no one seems to care for this technical issue
