That is just everything that has already been suggested on this thread plus one unworkable suggestion of going into the options on the main menu and disabling cross play. This can only be a suggestion born of complete ignorance of the issue and the game because YOU CANT GET TO THE MENU because of this error. All that link has is a bunch of BS steps to try while they try to figure out what is causing it.
Heres what I found, I got it to work by stopping the amazon prime video streaming on my tv sucking up most of the bandwidth for my very limited connection. I know thats probably not going to help a lot of you but it worked for me
