Re: Weekly Mission not counting anything

Hey all. 

Thanks again for all the reports. The Battlefield teams are aware of the issue and are investigating it as we speak.

Due to it being a Weekly Mission, there's of course only a certain amount of time available to complete the mission and unlock the reward. Because of that, live support will be able to assist you with the Ice Pick weapon skin reward for this week's mission for a very short extended time.

So for the players who're experiencing the issue of the Weekly Mission not tracking/progressing as it should; the best thing you can do is to contact live support via one of the following options and request assistance:

Update: this specific Weekly Mission has ended! (Ice Pick weapon skin, Apr 28th - May 5th)

  • I tried contacting support yesterday and they told me they couldn’t do anything and to wait for the dev team to fix it. 🙄


  • What will happen if time runs out and we can’t unlock it cause it’s bugged? I’ve played around 10 games of rush throughout the week and it says I’ve done 1 kill and won’t count anymore. The other 2 challenges counted fine but the rush ones just won’t work

  • So it’s done now cause it’s midnight where I live and still no camo, dope👌Literally only playing the game at the moment to get the weekly missions done cause there’s nothing else to do in the game and they don’t even work, and I shouldn’t have to use a vpn or do something to ‘work around it’, it should just work. So dumb

  • What would happen, now that I change a new weekly mission 21, what happens to the players who could not complete the weekly mission 20 to obtain Ice Pick”, Universal Weapon Skin. I did everything the Community Manager suggested to do to get the skin and it didn't help me to complete it. I hope to get it in the near future.

    so I contact EA Help on Twitter and they said they can't add the skin to me anymore for some reason. (likely because the mission is no longer active? They say if the issue happen next time I should contact to support while the mission is active)

    actually I was DM to them before mission end but the message didn't reach or something and not until I publicly tweet to them today that I got reply from EA Help.

    That's unfortunate. The skin was also nice to have. Hopefully they will come back in some other way. (and the issue get fix in next update) :\

    @LamicroszX I have done this multiple times since the launch of the game. One time they retroactively applied the PP29 skin after the week had finished along with the current skin as well. I've had different help members tell me it wasn't possible at the time and then tried again in a day or two and they were able to do it. If you are polite but insist it can be done they will be able to help you. They will only help you if you are courteous though.  When talking to EA help go through the missing content option and when you find someone who is actually able to do it go here to the Weekly Rewards page and tell them all the ones you missed out on due to the bug and they should be able to add them all at the same time.
