You´re kidding right? This is FRAUD! I Payed 90 bucks for a game to NOT work with my gamepad, KBM is uncomfortable in my opinion, so i have no options except for having no fun with my gamepad or having no fun with KBM because of bugs that the devs should have fixed already since beta. I´ve been on every release since BC2, and this one ist the most messed up at all (this coming from someone who played cyberpunk right at the release has to be a sign). PPl on console are not able to enjoy the game and people on PC either because of bugs and basic stuff that doesnt work. So im one of the idiots who payed 90 bucks to get laid over an f*cked up by bugs in essential gameplay mechanics. THIS IS WHAT I RECOMMEND FOR EVERYONE. get ur money back refund the sh+t out of ea, make them suffer as we die hard BF fans do by not being able to play this game earlier as promissed by ea and devs. IF day one patch isnt fixing this issue im going to consumer protection, and im going to refund this nightmare of a game immediatly. Afterwards im never going to spend even a penny on ea games again. This hurts die hard fans like me. So i guess im playing modern warfare again. Oh and before i forget, i tried this with my Scuf impact via bluetooth and wired and im always looking up, using my x360 pad unwired and wired constantly activates tab or makes me sprint permanent. I tried everthing recommended by all the ppl here. It doenst work, it just makes me suffer a little bit less because looking up now just appears when in combat. GREAT now im able to shoot in the sky while getting wrecked, exactly as i wished this game to be. THIS game cant be enjoyed by most of the customers and you guys don´t even care. Or at least it feels like ur not. SO EA DO SOMETHING ASAP, with ASAP i mean travel back in time and fix this mess. Sorry for my little Rant and my not so good english, but i wasted one week of vacation for this scam.

    Alright i finally found an workaround for DS4 with scuf impact. Raw mouse input had to be off too for this to work for me and auto aim is completely off (but this is an decision i made years ago already because auto aim kinda sucks and isnt necessary for lifeless nerds like me), Try this. It actually worked, im didnt stopped being pissed af by ea but yeah now im able to compete against other players with kbm without any issue. 

    This is not a solution but a workaround meanwhile the bug is fixed: 

    Steam have two type of controller configurations, Desktop type and Big Picture Type. If you connect a controller and open the game it will use the Desktop controller. [I'm using a PS5 Controller] so I need to go to Steam -> Settings -> Controller -> General Controller Settings and check the box that says Playstation Configuration Support in order to use the Desktop controller config. (note that the controller is listed in the Detected Controllers). Now if you open the game normally [Non big Screen Mode] the game will map and render the XBox buttons and the bug will happen on game, this is because its using the default mapping on the Steam -> Settings -> Controller -> Desktop Configuration Config.. For now, the only thing you can change to play the game without the issue is Browse in that screen for the config in the Templates section that says "Keyboard (WASD) and Mouse" and apply this config. The issue happens with any controller type mapping but not as a Keyboard mapping.
