Save file corrupt

I've been trying to play 2042 since yesterday but everytime it launches it says "Your game save file(s) are corrupt and could not be read by the game and that continuing will overwrite the corrupt file". I've tried everything I could think of like, repairing the game, redownloading it, updating drivers, checking if anything is missing. I don't understand how I can have a corrupt save if that data is uploaded on the cloud anyways. When the game launches and I try to ignore the pop up message it tries to make me redo my settings and treats me as if I just got the game. I'm afraid to continue and losing everything I grinded for. 

Does anyone have any solutions?

    Wolfboy, I have the same problem as you wi the save file being corrupt. I have uninstalled BF 2042 and tried loading it on another drive on my computer. It still does not work. After 2 updates the game is not loading at all and is showing a Check Data error about the save file being corrupt. I have followed what EA has said by uninstalling and reinstalling and it did not work.

    Did you find a Fix for this issue? Buddy of mine gets the same error, and it softlocks the game, as it comes back after clicking OK. We tried everything under the Sun. Repairing OS, Reinstalling the game, nuking the setting files in Documents, you name it.

    @WolfBoy169 I’m very late to this thread but I ran into the same problem and I did two things. I’m not sure which fixed the problem but I wanted to let you know. The first thing i did was I went into my one drive documents and I deleted the battlefield 2042 folder, the second thing I did was I went into the EA desktop app files and for some reason there was a file called EA Desktop app old or something and I deleted that folder as well and the game finally loaded up.

    Hey a server must be down. No friends are accessible, but you can connect to maps. Just a heads up.

    I am having the same issue, I have tried reinstalling the game numerous times, editing the settings file in documents, etc. I do have google drive if that will help fix this
