@xxxC🤭lBr33zExxxWhen I boot the game there is no .tmp file in the folder. And I don't use one drive and is off by default. and yes cloud storage in origin is off.
Edit 1: I now have deleted the files and booted the game. maybe this solves it.
Edit 2: After deleting the files I haven't had this issue. But now my main menu lags so hard I can't choose/ click on anything..
@Sulaiman-178the PROFSAVE_profile should be around 92kb. Something appears to be preventing the PROFSAVE_profile from updating and retaining your settings.
Since you already ruled out Windows Defender, do you by chance have One Drive running, if so, have you tried excluding the BF2042 folder from it?
Is there by chance a PROFSAVE.tmp file in the settings folder?
Out of curiosity, in Origin, do you have Cloud storage turned on or off?
@xxxC🤭lBr33zExxxThere are only two files, the ones I shared. No OneDrive or Google Drive installed on my system.
In Origin, I tried Cloud Saves both On and Off, it was ON by default, but the issue still happens on Origin and EA App it didn't make difference.
