We were playing with a full squad of friends and it seems like when one friend joins whether it be with a private or open party and when we spawn it shows everyone as random names on the bottom left. The player names on HUDs are correct though and we cannot spawn on each other. It also shows random player cards in the pregame but not main menu lobby.

Chiming in to say all of my friends and I have encountered this bug as well since S6 patch. Unfortunately I do not have any screenshots, but when it happens next I will take one.
One thing I noticed is when my REAL friend died it did show his name in green in my kill feed, even though the wrong squad was showing in the bottom left, without any of our names there including my own even.
I am in a 4 person party here with my friends on PC, none of which are showing in my party UI in game. My player tag is Boltz1011 which doesn't show in the squad. I can see the markers of the players on the map of the people in my party. I also cannot spawn vehicles from the deploy screen or the quick wheel. Cannot spawn on team mates. Cannot spawn on spawn beacons.
Ive found the easiest quickfix is to create a new squad
If you're playing with the same people, backing out and restarting doesn't always work. We've tried many times and it seems you just have to play through the broken match if you're playing with the same squad. Less than ideal when you only get time for 3-4 matches when you find time to play.
