@locknload762 Where is this log file you speak of? EA was kind enough to not create an adequate debugging interface for end users.

I found the log file located here - C:\ProgramData\Origin\Logs.  This is where it was showing that I was missing that file.

    Where do you put the new file once you download it?  I found the vcredist executables and copied the exe files there, then I get the empty black screen at launch.
